Mortgages
Michael Wilkinson, Director
Michael has over 18 years experience in the UK mortgage market. He holds
Financial Planning Certificates 1, 2 and 3, CeMap bridge accreditation, and
Mortgage Advisor Qualifications. He is the founder of the Seekers Group. Michael
began his career at a London mortgage brokerage in 1988 before joining the
financial giant Countrywide Assured. In March of 2000 he started Seekers and is
the Director and mortgage office manager of Seekers Mortgages. Michael is able
to discuss all aspects of residential lending including purchase and remortgage
products, Buy-to-Let, Right-to-Buy, Self-Certification and adverse or sub-prime
credit mortgages. He is also Seekers’ specialist commercial and secured lending
consultant.
Martin Peat, Mortgage Consultant - Chingford
Martin has been with Seekers since February 2003, and has nearly 10 years of
mortgage experience. He started in a large mortgage brokerage in Orlando,
Florida where for 4 years he gained valuable international mortgage experience.
Upon returning to the UK, he joined Seekers and developed his UK mortgage
knowledge. Martin holds CeMap qualifications 1, 2, and 3 and is now the
Chingford front-office mortgage consultant. Martin handles all residential
lending including purchase and remortgages, Buy-to-Let, Right-to-Buy,
Self-Certification and adverse or sub-prime credit mortgages.
Steve Clay, Mortgage Consultant - Harlow
Steve has been a part of the Seekers team since May 2006 and brought with him
over 17 years experience in the mortgage industry with Barclays. Steve was a
mortgage consultant, compliance manager and corporate finance consultant during
his tenure with the bank before leaving to head-up Seekers' Harlow office. He
holds CeMap qualifications 1, 2 and 3 and consults on all areas of residential
lending including purchase and remortgages, Buy-to-Let, Right-to-Buy,
Self-Certification and adverse or sub-prime credit mortgages. Steve is the
Harlow office sub-prime specialist able to help those with less than perfect
credit histories.
Gary Howe, Mortgage Consultant – Harlow
Gary has over 25 years experience in the UK mortgage industry. He arranged
mortgages for 16 of those years before becoming a compliance manager. Gary then
moved onto work for an independent mortgage broker until February 2007 when he
joined Seekers. Gary is CeMap 1, 2 and 3 qualified and arranges financing in all
aspects of residential lending including purchase and remortgages, Buy-to-Let,
Right-to-Buy, Self-Certification and adverse or sub-prime credit mortgages. He
is Seekers’ specialist consultant for those who do not have permanent rights to
reside in the UK.
Residential Sales
Alan Welford, Senior Director
Alan is the founder of Homeseekers, Seekers residential sales specialists. He
has tremendous knowledge of the areas in which Homeseekers list properties and
is the Head Appraiser and marketing manager for the company. Alan also manages
the Homeseekers office and is the “go-to” member of staff for most questions and
queries.
Paul Spencer, Senior Agent
Paul has over 10 years experience in the Estate Agent Industry. In this time, he
has been Office Managers at both Douglas Allen Spiro and Clarke Hillier local
branches. Paul took the opportunity to join Seekers in May 2007 and has brought
a wealth of experience and local knowledge to the team. Paul is also the Sales
Manager and Chief Negotiator for Homeseekers.
Erol Hussein, Sales Negotiator
Erol Joined Homeseekers in August 2006 as a Sales Negotiator. He is also the
office administration support manager and property co-ordinator. Erol is able to
arrange appointments and viewings on property Homeseekers have listed.
